Third in Charge | EAL Co-ordinator

My name is Becky and I have been with Monkey Puzzle Lee Park since we opened in September 2025; I am also the third-in-charge at the nursery. Shortly after starting my journey in early years, I realised that the most valuable skills are helping people grow and knowing that almost any problem can be solved with the right approach.

What I love most about working in childcare is the way children see the world and how they interpret every experience with such curiosity, positivity, imagination, and endless enthusiasm. Every child is learning to understand their emotions, build relationships with others, and find their place in the world, and I feel privileged to be in a position to support and guide them along the way. I have always enjoyed creating handmade projects for the nursery—such as "Color Monster" log slices, timber road ramps, and a post box—inspired by watching the amazing children I work with every day and thinking about how I can incorporate their interests into fun, handmade resources.

To me, working with children is more than a job—it is an opportunity to help them become more confident, secure, and happy with every single activity, experience, and interaction!
