About Me:
My name is Olga Okara, and I am originally from Ukraine. My professional journey has been shaped by a deep passion for learning and personal growth. I began my career as an engineer, later worked as a PR Manager, and then moved into higher education, where I taught at university level and eventually became Head of the Department of Advanced Studies.
Through each chapter of my life, I discovered that the most meaningful part of any role is helping others develop confidence, unlock their potential, and believe in themselves.
Becoming a mother gave me a completely new understanding of childhood. Watching my son explore the world with curiosity, imagination, and wonder reminded me that the most important foundations in life are often built during the earliest years. It was this realisation that inspired me to dedicate my career to working with young children. What I love most about Early Years is that every day is filled with discovery. Children have an extraordinary ability to find joy in the smallest things, ask the most thoughtful questions, and see possibilities where adults often see limitations. Their honesty, resilience, and enthusiasm inspire me every day.
I believe that every child deserves to feel safe, valued, and understood. My goal is to help children develop confidence, independence, kindness, and a lifelong love of learning while celebrating what makes each of them unique. The most rewarding moments are often the quietest ones: a child finding the confidence to try something new, solving a problem independently, making a friend, or proudly saying, “I did it.” These small moments may seem ordinary, but they are the building blocks of a child's future, and I feel privileged to be part of that journey.
